Technical Firing order on coils

Hi fellow pandamonieurs

Can anyone please assist me which plug wire goes where on the coil packs,
, I had to change both coil and wires, I thought it was a twin spark as I couldn’t hear a difference if i swopped my number 1&2 wires on the coils, so my guess I screwed up

It would be more helpful if you said what you did to sort it, so someone searching in the future who might stumble across this post knows how to fix the issue without asking

The 1.2 uses a wasted spark ignition system running two coils each having two plug leads. Apart from length of plug leads you can only get them one way or the other.


One coil goes to plugs 1 and 3, the other goes to 2 and 4. Plug lead length is usually all the clue you'll need to get them in the right places.



The 1.4 has stick coils the trigger lead lengths are enough to connect them correctly.
