General Fiat stilo problems with air bag light and leak

Hi i was wondering if some one can help me with my fiat stilo 1.2 16v (52 plate) 5 door.

the airbag light is on and says airbag failure stop engine.
i was just wondering if this is a M.O.T failure .?
and how much it costs to fix .

also i have a leak on the car the engine is covered in oil from top to bottom and was wondering if anyone can help with any suggestions . it looks like a new oil filter on it and a new sump.
the oil is all over the engine so pretty hard to tell where coming from .
I was wondering also would this leak be an M.O.T failure .?

airbag light is a fail...

oil leaks arent persay fails but if your vehicle leaves enough of a liquid on the test lane it will fail but it has to leak so badly that you probably wouldnt get to the test station before it ran out of whatever fluid... it could be the rocker gasket cover but my guess is its just spillage from the fill pipe that is running down the front edge of your block... jet wash it off and see if it still occurs. if you pull the dipstick whilst topping oil up it will be far less likely to bubble up and spill over your engine
