General fiat scudo 2.0jtd

can anybody help been repairing a scudo came to me with engine light on after putting on diagnostic came up with over boost valve.checked turbo waste gate,freed off egr valve checked exhaust for blockage,fitted new boost valve,vehicle goes ok when code is cleared till you travel at 70 then code comes back and vehicle lacks power again.basically great up to 70':bang:

hi, I've got exactly the same fault on a 2.0 jtd. Did you ever sort the fault out. Did your van also chug a bit then whap out a big puff of black smoke and stall???? I'm goin to try the mass air flow sensor in the next week or so. Could you let me know if you found it to be anything different , and if I sort it out I'l also repost and let you know what I have found

Possibly low pressure pump in fuel tank, tends to start breaking up and seize, also ends up with filings in fuel system, remove fuel filter and see if any fine metal filings.

thought i'd solved the power loss problem on mine at the wkend, found one of the black hoses kinked that goes to the turbo, unkinked it and hey presto doin 8omph + for atleast an hour and no power loss. problem is now won't start when warm( only owned the van couple of wks so this problem probably already existed) had aa out once more and he seems to think it may be the fuel pressure sensor. starts first time when cold:bang:

am gettin somethin the same,mines is a 2.0jtd but she wont start without easystart,took it to get a diagnosis, garage says its my high pressure fuel pump & my injectors,, wait for it he quoted 2400,,,,parts come to 1640,,any body gotta match:bang:
