General 2015 Fiat scudo passenger door lock issues

Hello,
My Fiat scudo is having passenger door locking issues. Passenger door won't lock with the central locking. There is a small Allen key shaped hollow piece with some sort of catch inside, which I am able to flick over and the door then locks with the central locking. Since I am in Australia most mechanics don't want to work on this type of van so looks like I will be doing a lot of work on this van myself. I have included a photo. Looking for suggestions, also any links to van manuals would be great.

I have had Fiat Scudos, but at present have an 08 Citroen Dispatch 2.0 which is the same model series as yours with wrap around headlights as they changed around 2016 I think.
I had to replace the actual lock assembly as the electrics inside it packed up.
This is the right hand or O/S for UK driving front door lock.
