Hi everyone
I'm new here so please be gentle
Little help required, we have a 2012 scudo, when I turn the main headlights on only the side lights work, however if I have had the heater running and leave it on and turn the ignition off the headlights work, they even work if I get in vehicle and just turn heater button

Any ideas what this could be?
Thanks for reading

Only guessing but, earthing points or issue at BCM body computer.
I have had a 2010 Fiat Scudo in past, but now have an 08 Citroen Dispatch (same series different badge) with window problems that I have tried all the normal solutions, switches, wiring loom in door etc.
I think the issue may be "canbus" related as they rely on a small signal to activate, which a poor connection etc. will easily cause problems.
I use Maxiecu scan tool as MES popular on Forum was not compatible with the Fiat Scudo possibly due to them using the Peugeot engine.
That tool can check many things including in BCM section activating modules and checking for error codes etc. plus live data.:)

Oxidized contact. Possibly the contacts in the knob that turns the lights on, the control stick. Spray contact cleaner in it and move it multiple times on and off to clean it. If that doesn't fix it, move along on the line finding next oxidized contacts and cleaning them. The relay contacts in the fuse box, the fuse contacts, the headlights/bulbs contacts.

P.S.: Welcome to the forum!
Also, you can always call the exorcist! 😁
