my son has a fiat punto 57 plate diesel .car which until a month ago run rather well, then the alternator went down this was sorted out at the garage but now there is a problem which they say is due to it getting to much diesel , it has been in the garage for a month but it starts and ticks over ok but try to rev it up and it wont go .you cant drive it anywhere has it just wont go. the timing has been checked, and new crankshaft sensor fitted . it has been to auto electrics but no fault codes found ,the garage has tried everything but are about beat with it . different parts have been tried but no go , can anyone help please ,latest thing is ecu ? sent to be checked.
