You've always irrationally hated the 500 for some weird reason upgrade ulpian....

I've never hated the 500, in fact I like it a lot. Obviously it has irritating characteristics, but then so does every car. But the 500 isn't suitable for me. I have no idea where you got the idea that I actually hate it. You might be confusing the car with some aspects of the image, which I confess I do find annoying.

Oh, and I love yellow. My sitting room curtains are a vibrant yellow velvet and the colour really cheers me up. It's difficult on cars, but some shades work and I think the 500L's might be one of them. I'd need to see it outside the showroom in daylight to be sure though.

Oh, and the babies and families riff which has been built around the 500L pisses me off a bit too :D

Go suzuki swift 4x4, can actually go off road unlike a 500L. Also cheaper than a panda or duster 4x4 (y)

Also no "lifestyle" baggage to contend with and doesn't look like joseph merrick mated with a micra..

Ah, I see. Is it, I didn't know that.

Well I always liked the Swift and I was very tempted once. I think it was the tiny boot that finally put me off, but I'll certainly take a look.

And I don't need 4X4, just good grip and easy access, and a decent seat. I had a Suzuki once and it was a good car. £11.5K is a good price for what should be a well built car. They're going after the Panda then ;)
