I originally posted that hamster to the thread you're thinking about. It amused me greatly, so I thought I'd re-run it here. Last time I looked a couple of FF peoples were going to meet and help him. Will see. You’re not the worst on here at the moment for a thread that drags and drags and drags on….no names mentioned![]()
It rained the whole time I was running, like I didn't get wet enough yesterday!Yes, go and sweat some of that “Monster” out of your system
Tell the truth, we can see the bottle of Pepsi on the right, the beer is for your partner,I'm going to toast the FF people for seeing me through.

Cheers people, thanks for your help!
I think since Covid all prices have leapt up, just a walk through supermarket is crazy. While i was waiting for the MOT, a guy came in and asked if he could buy and bring in his own pads and discs for the garage to fit to his 2020 Ford Cougar. The staff said no and did the hard sell on him, they persuaded him to book the car in provisionally to have the front and back pads and discs bought and fitted on Saturday, for the price of £667.74.
The last time i was there, someone came in and fitted a new Stop Start battery, fitted for £250.
Are prices a lot higher? Am i just out of kilter with the modern world?
LOL, i'm just missing the lager my son stole!Tell the truth, we can see the bottle of Pepsi on the right, the beer is for your partner,
actually looking close I can see it is pepper.![]()
The garage originally quoted me about £200 to change the droplink and clean the back brakes, but probably it was a selling technique, if i'd let them do the job then not long after i'd dropped the car off they might have been phoning me up saying "this or that" needs doing, and the price would have been a lot higher. If i'd refused then i wasn't getting an MOT, i'd have to pick it up, take it somewhere else etc. So perhaps i've escaped a £400 bill. Its hard to tell though.I think since Covid all prices have leapt up, just a walk through supermarket is crazy.
Thing is they go on about inflation falling but they haven't told the supermarkets.![]()

He was on the run with me. He was quicker than me when he was 14. He was quicker than his mother when he was 4If you have just lost the drinking contest, don't challenge your son to the run as well.![]()

Ha-ha! Listed 'under vehicle body corosion' there twice. At the beginning and at the end. That must be something deeply spiritual.

You can just camp there, in front of that garage. Make some onest money. While i was waiting for the MOT, a guy came in and asked if he could buy and bring in his own pads and discs for the garage to fit to his 2020 Ford Cougar.
