Well true as an advert it will stand out :S but from having worked in a bodyshop for years I cringe at where he is painting it and the quality it will be.

Feel free to paint it for me, I'll supply the paint, the car looks quite respectable, but at the moment i would rather spend the money on a dastek
chip and mapping

let us know how it goes with the dastek mate mine goes back on the road for 2 weeks on monday 2 run the new cams and belt in then can come back off for the rest good job im not aloud to drive at the min lol i dont think i could trust my self hehe.

Must stop reading these threads! the s'charger sound is discticnt on both these and really makes it sound like something on the edge about to flip lol

If i can get a cinq to stip and hack, I'm sure i cou;d get one in...it wouldn't be practical, but it'd sure be fun.

thats not such a bad idea mate in princaple, both me and claymore have s'charged 20v's well will do next week lol and dave has a custom punto we could do some sort of step by step guide lol

No news, haven't had the car maped yet, but Im happy with the way it runs at the moment, doing about 400 miles a week and fuel economy seems the same as before the mods, to get over the tickover problem, I'v just got the dump valve dumping slghtly at tick over, car feels like a 3ltr, so much torque. planing on dialing in a bit of nos this weekend, just 25hp shot to start with

lol, you had any signs of hurt from the engine then yet mate? ive always said it was a strong engine but didnt know how strong could you put up an in car vid of driving giving it some and normal pease mate, it is just i want to shut the lads up who dont believe it would run, what a set of pillicks first they said my inlet wont run lol then they said i could adjust the boost valve to run the bigger injectors lol but the joke is they all drive little engined cars lol

mate that pulls mint for a car thats not been mapped seems to run ok dont it through traffic that defonatly seems verry fast through the gears compared i think, good job there mate i cant wait even less now lol 15days till its taxed and insured lol be the longest 15 days of my life.

Yup its the last 50 sec that are the most interesting, is hard to judge how fast a car is on a video, you need to really be behind the wheel to get the feel of it. Be interesting to see power, 0-60 times etc once she's all finished.

I agree, the last fifty seconds are the best, but donny_lad wanted a vid of normal driving and on boost to show that the car was perfectly drivable without being maped, beleive me its got a lot more power than when it was NA, its like a bloodey vtek at 4500rpm
