Thanks for that PAJ I've had the battery and tray off yesterday to see which thermostat was fitted and I've had the coil pack off as well recently to fit a new seal. So I will get a stat and fit it some time next week.

'Morning Yolanda, Just thought I'd mention the following.
Many on here will have gathered that I like Shop4parts and the quality of goods and service they supply - I'm not alone in this - so I'm happy to recommend them. However there was a very recent post from someone who was deeply disappointed with the cost of making a small purchase from them.
If you are ordering from them you need to have an order worth more than £25 so you will get free shipping (that person was under this so any saving was wiped by the shipping charge). Also if you make a donation to the forum funds: https://www.fiatforum.com/donations.php you can access the forum discount code and get extra discount from this supplier (10% last time I ordered).
So, for me, it's a local purchase from a trade Factor for small single items but something like an order for the yearly service items for our Panda and my boy's Punto I order all in one from S4p and get original genuine parts at a very good price. - I find that, with prices generally the way they are these days, it's actually not too difficult to exceed the £25

As with anything check the prices elsewhere. Clutch hydraulics are a classic. The pre-filled master cylinder with hose can be upwards from £175. I think the current S4P price is beyond that. I got a Borg & Beck cylinder only for £55 and plugged in the reservoir and pipe. Ditto the slave. Any more than £40 is silly and they often don't really need replacing. Mine looked really rough so I replaced it but when opened up the inside was as good as new. It went on Mrs Dave's car because her bleed nipple was rusted up.
On the other hand, a pair of front shocks were about £10 more than Fleabay but proper Magnetti Marelli parts are with the seal bit extra. Ditto the clutch. A nice Valeo for 100HP was actually less than what was on offer on eBay and they stocked the oil seal I needed.

Absolutely Dave, always do a price search but watch that you are comparing like for like in terms of quality? S4p's price today on that master cylinder? https://www.shop4parts.co.uk/?name=..._Panda_II_(04_to_09)_1.2_8v_Clutch_Hydraulics Although they seem to be out of stock on the cheapest option (LUK) but they are doing the genuine FCA one for a few pence under £140.
When we sorted out my boy's clutch problems (joint effort between me and Kenny Harrison's garage) he, Kenny, got a slave for it from the local factor for "peanuts" which subsequently I bled a couple of time before getting a "perfect" pedal. This cylinder looked identical to the original although I didn't see the box it came in and can't remember the brand. It is still functioning fine after about 2 years in service.
So, Always check around, but that's just a common sense approach.
