thats using my 'road trip' app that I've been using over the past year and half. it records how much fuel i use, how much a certain trip costs/how much it would cost estimate. average consumpion etc etc. its basically fuely but in app mode.

my trip computer never reads higher than 48 unless im doing a long trip. which like you said is optimistic as i average 42-45 on day to day driving
 
hi all.just thought id let you know that i do speak a fair bit of italian as my father lives near lake como.it is a very beauiful place very ceinic.the food is excellent as well,some places you can eat as much as you like for around 12 euros approx 10 pound very good price.my brother went by car to italy last year around august.i can check what it cost him in toll roads and fuel.he drives a grande punto sporting 1.4 16v NO PROBLEMS THERE AND BACK.even supprised me.fiat are quite reliable now days.i have same car.looking foward to going.:)

I think theres an error in how that reads somehow. There is NO way the 'International Punto Meet' is announced two months prior to it. Rest assured the dates will be confirmed when we get them!

Any idea when this is likly to be then? I'd like to commit, but this is stopping me atm.

Unfortunatly this is what seems to always stop a lot of group events from happening, a lack of definative date, and by the time its chosen its too late for most :(

2013 - June 2nd
2012 - July 1st
2011 - July 3rd
2010 - June 22nd
2009 - June 29th
2008 - July 6th
2007 - July 1st
2006 - June 28th

Right, well i'm going to stop digging for dates now, as i see a trend appearing already. Its going to be June/July time 2014, and from that i'm seeing last two weeks of June or first two weeks of July. If you really look at the 'trend' it seems to be two years in July, followed by two years in June, then vice versa. So, you could possibly guess its going to be June again?

That narrows it down, hopefully a bit more for people wanting to commit. As soon as we get a confirmed date you'll read/see it in this thread (and splashed ALL over facebook by me no doubt!)

Right guys wee slip up the trip is all going ahead still but I no longer have the punto (dads took it of me and disowned me) but all going well am gonna get a mk 2 punto later this year so I'll still have a fiat :) but for now im driving a escort :(

Been chatting with some fellow Events Team chaps (plus members too) about the Italy trip next year. With the possibility of dates it'll be its also looking possible to get the Fiat Ducato Van along for the trip, and get a propper little stand up. Ofcourse, its all a 'maybe' at this point, but a possibility.

Definitely save for a Grande, they can be picked up cheap enough now :cool:

I no they are will see what comes around the corner was charting to a work college earlier and he suggested as a laugh I keep the escort and take it on the trip lmao I don't think it'd make it though this weather were having cause it to get rather hot on a 30 mile journey although it didn't overheat I wouldn't dare take it into 4digit miles haha and sweet that's brightened up my day abit hearing we 'might' have a stand :) good work wisey :)
 
Just to keep you all informed this trip is still going ahead had a lil slip up but am now back with another fiat :) just waiting for a message back from Wisey to see when Garda itailia is next year he's been in contact with them but no news as yet. Once the dates announced ill be setting a date for this road trip so keep watch guys :)
