South West Run to the Sun

There was an article in the practical classics magazine about a group of Panda owners convoying to Pandino in Italy to a large fiat panda event
to raise money for prostrate cancer - a great cause, and something I would fancy doing . But you would have to be in pretty good shape to
undertake a trip like that, and a hell of a treck. But got me thinking, when you look at the events section there's not much happening and also
not many events for people in the south west of england to attend , Gave me an idea, what about an annual " Run to the Sun " for people in this
end of the UK . My idea would be panda owners/abarth and fiat 500 owners for an initial event .
There is a huge industrial estate with an american style diner where the karting centre is in Exeter.......more than enough room for a really good
event with a diner . It's something I would love to take my panda to . I've had my panda over 6 years .
Its not everyone's cup of tea to drive abroad and not really something I'de fancy doing and also the expense involved, but an annual event for
us southerners . what do people think and would anyone like to help organise something ? .

We haven't had any grassroots events setup for a while - if you can get a date organized, I can promote this on the forum and our facebook page as much as possible.

If it's before September, I might even be able to make it myself

The only issue is Exeter is pretty far to the west - and looking at our members list, not as many in that area.
