After the disaster that was is 1.2 GP, my cousin recently bought an 07 plate 1.4 Starjet GP.
He bought it last Friday (25th June) and Fiat said there was 3 months warranty on it.
He was driving to work last night and heard a big bang and thump thump thump, so he pulled over and opened the bonnet and this is what he came across.......
I went up to him and I was able to pull the bolts (which were loose) out of the engine side of the mounting and there was slivers of metal around the threads of the bolt. So I assume that the threads have stripped out of the block.
Since Fiat said there was 3 months warranty on the car, will they fix it?
Also what are the chances of him getting a courtesy car because he will be stuck while they fix it?
It's Research Nuneaton if it makes any difference.
I apologise for the extremely crappy phone pics!!
