Technical Electric Window Problem

Hi All

My electric window on the drivers side stopped working completely dead yesterday, but today around 14 hours later working fine again never had a problem before with this window normally works fine, only thing I did was leave the turn turned so the electrics was on was parked up.The car is a mk2b punto 04 1.2

Any advice would be great on what part could be on the way out.

It could be the wiring into the door from the body, all that opening and closing could be causing the cabling to wear out. You could also try a new window switch.
