Technical ecu location???

hi

lookin to replace ecu in punto sportin mk1 as i think it is fault as car wont start and key code light is comin on. only problem is i cant find the ecu????

anybody no where to find it on a n reg mk1 1.6 punto sporting??????????

do you have the red key ? try under front wipers passenger side under black scuttle

nah dont have red key unfortunatly!
bit of a bitch to find the ecu eh. got front panels off etc its so crampt behind there i still cant see it.

any advice??????

i think that also,
seem to remember people getting leaking heater matrix and it buggering them all up on the 1.6
