Hi All, new here but some of your knowledge please. Have a mooveo 719 camper based on Ducato 2007 chassis.
Cab heater blower didn't respond to the dial. I.e. blows speed 4 all the time. Changed the resistor pack, but no difference except that for about 5 seconds, speed 4 gave fan speed 1.
Confused. Switch?

You should be able to check the switch with a multimeter to eliminate it

Thanks Greasy trucker. Is it possible to do that at the connector for the resistor pack once unplugged, or do I need to get the switch out?
Hmmm not sure on that one to be fair. I’ve only ever tested switches out. I’m sure someone else reading this will be able to confirm if this is possible. Sorry I can’t be more help 🙂

Thanks for your reply anyway 👍we use the motorhome 2 weekends out of 4, so I am trying to find the quickest solution. Maybe I have to resort to Fiat here in France, but am trying to avoid that 🤣

If it is based on the X250 Ducato then with the resistor pack removed the fan should still work on position 4. The fan gets a positive volts whenever the ignition is on via a fuse and relay in the engine fuse box. The fan negative gets 0volts directly via the switch position 4.
Check that 0v [battery negative] is getting to the motor with the switch in position 4.
