Practice in it, then Practice some more. Keep going through all the manouvers in it and learn your reference points
Practise as much as possible. In your test whatever you do do not hit the kerb! Even if you have to go forwards and try again DON'T hit the kerb!

cheers I have only ever hit kerb once and that as due to a very fast-moving lorry on a very narrow lane

You'll be fine then. I must admit there is a narrow road near me and I go up and down the kerb (only at dropped points) to allow others to pass and me to pass.

no word of lie I've seen a 8 wheeled truck wheel spin on these roads..... not sure how but they did it

Hitting the kerb only matters on pulling in and manouvers anyway during general driving its ok as long as you dont go up it

Do they still make you do 2 out of 3 with Reverse around the corner, 3 point turn and parallel park?
they did until very recently
now they do one manoeuvre and independent driving where the examiner says follow the signs to blah blah and thats what they have to do
the new test is easier apparently and iv also heard rumours its to easy so there changing it again but they are just rumours

my instructor told me that they do 2 maneuvers and one n 3 test gets a third one and there is 4 now - reversing around a corner, 3 point turn, parallel parking and reverse parking into a car park space. And as jip0 said you do a independent driving section too so that they know you can drive on your own and that your not using directions as ques for doing specific things
