2016 500x Easy 71k miles
The driver mode unavailable light came on tonight and stayed on. Car aseems to drive fine, but of course cannot change driver modes. Next steps?

Read fault codes..

May be worth disconnecting battery overnight.. the reboot may help restore function

If its been sat on a forecourt for a while..
Then battery condition may not be optimal

I went through the same thing at 4,500 mil. It is the thermostat around $650 to get fixed.

I had to have a new abs pump/sensor. Hill start assist wasn’t working and neither was the selector switch.
