I fitted a mk2 head to my mk1 Punto 55 and made an adapter so I could carry on using the mk1 manifold. The mk2 manifolds are usually plastic and not the quality I would have liked on my car. Also the mk1 has single point injection while the mk2 has multi-point making the manifolds strictly suited to individual models.
