My manifold has a broken stud (one of three). It sounds wonderful, but I have to do something about it...I have a replacement downpipe (with flexy 2 hole flange that the rest of the exhaust pipe connects to, but I think it will be easier to put on another manifold rather than try & drill the broken stud...I expect the other studs may be on their way out as well.
Does anyone have a manifold? or advice?
I'm off to Ireland in September to do the Wild Atlantic Way, so I have time, but it runs away very quickly!

You will need to get the stub of the stud out whatever. Generally remove the manifold then the studs. I would get a garage to do this and use an induction heater to loosen the studs. If they break off flush its a garage job anyway unless you are really good. Key thing is to go slowly and use heat on the broken stud before trying to turn it. Maybe @bugsymike or @puggit auld jock could help

That is what I was thinking
Do you know the part no for the manifold to head gasket? there seem to be several options! I hope I have the right 3 & 2 hole gaskets coming!

No I cant help save point you to EPER on here. I usually look at eBay nad start with what they say is correct. Use the part number and check against other suppliers. shope for aprts will know. If you ring they will advise and they have great prices for Fiat parts too. Watch delivery charges though.

I should have the right Manifold gasket on it's way. If the manifold nuts come undone & if the two bolt flange comes free (a couple of big if's) then a local machine shop should be able to replace the stud... Replacing it with a nut & bolt may be an option, but it is probably the inaccessible stud! I hope there is enough room to take manifold and downpipe out in one piece...ever the optimist!
