Technical Dipped beams come on when left indicator is on.

Hey,

Just bought a 1.3 multi jet grade punto. And just pulled in the drive and signalled left and saw the dip beam adjustment come on the screen so I got out and checked and they come on when it's on left only and the light switch is off. Any ideas?

Hi @bfbenf,
Are the dipped beams flashing with the indicators? If so it's a short circuit in the left cluster or wiring loom. If not (steady dip beam) it may be the stalk switch or body computer. Try the hazzard light switch and see if the dipped beams come on. If not it's probably the stalk switch. A check with Multiecuscan should be able to pin it down.

The hazard lights don't activate the light. Just simply the switch. It's under warranty so I'll have them fix it. Thanks
