Technical Delphi 199 issue

• Hi All

I get some issue with my delphi 199.
Some days ago I was check some wire behind the radio because the previous owner put on my punto a parrot kit. (He mount this in a very dirty mode)
Before this "simple" work, my radio works very well, but after I dis-mount and then re-mount it, the radio turn on, works fine but the display doesn't say nothing.
All lights and buttons works (also the display light) except the display text.
Is my radio dead or just need an upgrade in a fiat center?

It might be that there is a basic reset required.

I would just unclip the battery negative lead for an hour.


(Did you disconnect power when doing the work?)

Did you check all the wires were ok when you disconnected the parrot? I would try the negative first, and whilst it is off pull the unit and double check the wires.

Thanks for the replies guys!
When I made the work I didn't disconnect the power from the battery.
Now I'm out of my city, when i come back I'll first try to disconnect for an hour the power. If this don't solve my problem then i will bring my punto to the fiat center.
