You do have to connect up a 12v line to power it (I already this for my Bluetooth and dashcam) and connect 2 wires to the OBD connector. I had a spare OBD plug lying around, so I just soldered the wires to that and plugged it in.

Not quite sure what that would involve

I believe the CastleDonnington kit was a 'canm8'

In the end I bought a 500...as the facelifted ones have cruise as a factoty option... it works ok.. done 3k with it now

Would be nice to get it on our panda though.. as its so much cheaper..and nicer.. to go places in

Ahh, simple enough. An independent fused line I think for it may be an idea.
That's a good idea to use a plug for the OBD connection. May splice around the back.

Yes there are aftermarket versions and they ahvebeen reported on herein. ConradAnderson,co.uk do a really good quality kit There are others as well.
No, I'm familiar with aftermarket versions, but I mean from another Fiat (500, Punto etc.)

Unfortunately I have 0.9 twinair 4x4...
Me too I asked about Conrad Anderson because they warranted the car even when new. I am failry sure the 500 TA 105 could have cruise as well. Obviously you need the brain to be compatible. Again I have seen on here hte CA made kit fits to a Panda and its plug and play no interfereance with the cars ECU I saw it on sale for £385 a couple of years back so maybe worht negotiating with a main supplier.

They are fitted to 500s so that would almost certainly fit at least on another 1.2
I seem to recall you had Cruise fitted using a stalk from a 500,

Norfolk based fitting? 🤔

I have just lined up a 2023 panda, and seem to think the 500 variants kit should work (Yes, this is a well travelled path..) 🙄

I never got round to it in the end. The stalks being different Iwouldnt go that route and a 23 would be a hybrid? I wpponder what impact this would have. I would start by googling and go to the CA website and see if it is listed. If yes check the kit and see if its common to the 23 car. Again if yes, then its much more likely a 500 kit miight fit but then you have to find one with black stalks and this might defeat you. I read fitting instructions, and there is nothing difficult.... if you can hang upside down in the footwell to get the pedal switches. This is well beyond me now. I woul just buy the Conrad Anderson kit, its up to OEM standards and would blend in. Good fitting instructions too.

Hi Folks,

Thanks for the updates 😊

From my side:
I now own a 3-pot Panda..

Will get a few miles under it's belt to see if it's worth spending out on Cruise
(that is the longterm aim)

I see the later Canm8 can plug into OBD socket (same as insurance BlackBoxes)

So I need to check for an SGW on this

My MES lists SOME 1.0 S.G E. motors,

Just not the Panda.. I won't give Yani another 50 Euro until I know more..
