Technical cooling fan been bypassed

hi guys can anybody please tell me where the cooling fan switch is on 16 valve marea as it seems to have been bypassed to a small rocker switch I think possibly this was done by the previous owner as think thermoswitch had failed I have got new switch but cannot see where it screws in to have looked all round radiator to no avail any help appreciated cheers speedbump
