The guy I use charged me £120 plus parts. he uses unipart who are not especially good value (to the customer) so I get the bits (from S4P EuroParts etc) and hand them to him.
When he did my front brake caliper he charged £50 labour and he also replaced both brake hoses - plus parts of course.

Gearbox halfway in - oops its slipped & dropped. No worries, it'll be fine.

well i thought it was a little toughter then that.. and that it would jump the 1mm to get into place.. it clearly never :O and doing the gear box back up there was no crack or nouthing it was a sinlent break
