General Clutch pedal feels weird

Hi all

My mk2 Pintó today felt strange suddenly as i released the clutch. Its like the final inch is loose and doesnt spring back like it should.

Any suggestions? Thanks all!

Engine bay --> under battery tray is a leaver and a black plastic piston and gaitor

Give that a wiggle, does it move easily at all?
