So today assembled

First start? no :( Something´s wrong. I will check on weekend. Exhaust coming from intake :) I will check timing and sensors...

My guess: snapped locking pin on the bottom sprocket wheel

Woj, You think I didn´t check?? :)
No, that will be very easy ;)

I´m running SPI 55ECU on 75MPI injectors.. Should work (3,6ohm serial SPI injector) - 15,6 ohm MPI injector - total with parallel setting 3,9ohm - so should work) - even I have only SPi fuel pump now. It should start smoothly.

I´d like just move the car little bit for exhaust tuning, suspension and brakes (another place)

I try to change distance pulley - sensor - same. Maybe opposite connection of injectors... I will really try more during weekend.

All fine, but exhaust gases going out through the inlet means there is something wrong with the "physical geometry" of the engine, does it not? Perhaps coil's connectors swapped?

Don´t ask me what was the problem :) I was foolish about timing belt setting. There was yellow mark on flywheel so I thought it was groove... groove was approx 60 deg later :))))

so Today I did first 50meters. Horewer I need to change SPI pump :)

Water connected, exhaust done but just roughly, because I am awaiting for supersprint...

I have to tune my 16v TB adaptor little bit more :) but it will be perfect when I finish ;)

Today´s news
MPI conversion - fuel pump

Fuel pump wiring

Seicento bay is the same like Punto, so if you take from 1,6 or GT, there is no need for tuning. Horewer for Cinquecento and good fitting, you need to do this:

and this

which create this:

Orange / yellow plexiglass and gauge is installed.

So now cento runs. Horewer on 55SPI ECU is not so good :)
So I can move by several meters, because still, suspension & bushing will be installed, but I have to install P75 ecu & wiring ;)

I know it from twinspark :D everything below 1,5bar means OH NO#@&#@#!! :D

I tested, 6bar 4000rpm cold engine, 3bar idling cold engine, 4bar hot engine 4000rpm, 2bar approx idling hot engine. So Oil pump should be ok ;)

FIAT give (from the Seicento Technical Manual) @ 90C:

idle -- > 0.7bar
4,000 rpm 4 +or - 0.4 bar

(It's the hot idle one that scares folk!). I think the FIRE engine has a high volume, low pressure system, while the twin cam is the other way round.

SO after longer time, some package finally arrived...

Palio MPI ecu + immo + keys

Loom (which I will not use)

TB cover from Palio (Sei/cinque 0,9 uses smaller one)

So I should only exchange PIN 26 to 23 for immobiliser. A/C no using. And it should work, other connections are the same..

In my car the hood does not close on the Palio bob (or closes, but the the bob touches the hood and there is noise/vibrations all over car).

Hmmm, slightly off topic but woj that diagram seems to show coils with a single secondary... Now I really need to go and dig one out and take some measurements. Do you have you old coil to see if there is a short between the secondary and ground?

Soz chaps back on topic. :D

I measured what I could on the broken coil: there is a resistance of 7.5kohm between the two outputs of the coil, and the input pins are properly shorted.

Well the input pins are a coil so definetely shouldn't be shorted (maybe a lowish reading though). However what we are really looking for is a reading between either of the two output pins and either input pin, or a reading between either of the output pins and the metal casing. However a short on the input would most likely zap a micro ecu, but it wouldn't explain the 3 cylinder mystery.

Anyway we should continue this at your place no?

:D

Sorry Reproboy, carry on with your tasty little motor. (y)

1. Splice the the injector wire into four.

2. Deal with the coolant temp. sensor plug if needed (that is, when your head/inlet is of type with one 3-plug sensor instead of 2-plug + 1-plug).

3. Make sure the ECU does not get any feed on its pin 26.

That's it! We are talking starting up with SPI of course (y)
