That looks second hand so presumably from a breaker


Allthrough I doubt the pin is available on its own probably come with the check strap itself

'Special bolts' are just that..

Yes you could use a conventional bolt.. and have a hardened spacer built around it.. but that would make £12 delivered to your door seem a bargain

As stated above it’s probably only part of a whole replacement check strap, everything scrap yards sell on eBay seems to be over priced. Always worth a call to the local dealers

Tried to phone my local fiat dealers Thursday no answer! Will try again today,

Both my doors are creacking at these pins, doing my nut in!

Someone is selling brand new seals for my golf cabriolet at the moment that goes between the roof and the windscreen frame so highly specific to that car and quite a complex seal if you ever see one. This is a German VW dealer and it’s about £60, I dread to think what a scrap yard would try and charge for a second hand one

You could probably get a scrap car delivered to your house for that price with the part you want on it !!
