Technical Cheap battery

the UK part number for a sei is 202. i swapped mine for an 063 which is a much more popular battery (used on fords and rovers) so there a bit cheaper. only thing is they are slightly longer so you have to move the fuses that are sat behind the battery and bend there mounting bracket back to get it in place.

Leisure batteries arent much cheaper than car batteries anyway!

Where can I get that for Leisure Batteries, my customers skweeled when the price went to £45, having been £40 for 8 years.

I just checked my battery and it says 063 on the top on the white label. My guess is the first owner of the car must of changed it over unless it was standard like that. I've owned it for nearly 4 years now and the first owner had it from new for only 2 half years, cant see why it would have been changed. How can you tell if its been changed. Unless im reading the wrong bit.

Its been changed. It hasn't got a 202 sized battery in it. It wouldn't leave the factory without a 202.
