Technical The battery charging indicator light is on

I have had a problem with the accu charging signalisation for half a year.
The light is permanently on.
But charging is OK. Accu voltage is correct. I overhauled the Alternator (changed the regulator and measured winding and all diods - everyting is OK).

What could be the cause of this condition?

Could this be caused by a short in the wire connecting the charging light to the alternator D+?

There's a built-in regulator.. but you say you've changed it.

What's the charging voltage? it should be ~14.3 volts.

Also, do the lights get brighter when you're at 1500rpm, compared to at idle?

I'm not sure whether the battery earth can confuse the alternator output... so check that too. You just need to clean the connections and make sure the cable isn't corroded, snapped or falling apart.. so it doesn't cost anything if the cable/earth points are clean and okay.
