General Can smell petrol in the car

Hi all only had my Bravo hgt for two days now. I have noticed that when i fill the tank up to just over half a tank i get a petrol smell in the car it will go away after a while but if i pull away hard or when i turn in the car i get the petrol smell i have had alook under and around the car but can see any leeks. Any idea's where it could be comeing from. Thanks

I have the same problem. But havent solved it yet.

There is a black cover with 3 screws under the carpet in the boot. If you take that off and start the car you will find out where its coming from.

Yeah already looked there it does seem stronger there but can't find anywhere it could be coming from.

been told that it could be something to do with charcoal canister at the front of the car.

Try replacing the rubber seal under the black cover with a new one. Should sort the problem.
