Hey guys,

In the past week many bubbles appeared on my hood. Should I be worried and is this a beginning of rust? Why only on the hood?

Let me know if you have any suggestions what to do next.

Cheers

WD40 or regular white spirit might remove it. Anything stronger like acetone risks paint damage. You can also get "tar remover" which is turpentine. Check it on pant that wont show.

Repair the lacquer damage with a touch up pen.
