Going to change the brake pads on the GP. i can get off shop4parts for around £33 for a front set. Is this a good price for the set? Or can you get them cheaper anywhere else? Or any other recommended pads to change to?

Check out Stilo pads of same size - no sense in paying `grande' prices

.
Silly question, but is it easy to change them?
With my car having ESP would it need a garage?

All brake pads sold in this country must by law conform to a standard, ECE-R90. This standard and piece of legislation ensures that any replacements are of an equal standard to those fitted by the OEM.
Buy the cheapest ones you can find........ they WILL NOT perform any worse than the ones originally fitted by Fiat when the car was new. I picked up a set for about £15 inc vat from my local autofactors. It doesnt matter what it says on the box, they will all perform to an equal standard........unless you want to pay extra for all the advertising hype and the manufacturers sales propaganda that goes with them.........or a box that says "FIAT" on it
