General Boot leak (roof strip)

Hi everyone, I've got a boot leak on the drivers side of my 07 Grande Punto and have now re-sealed all the seams at the back but this doesn't appear to have had any effect. I've read on other threads about small holes under the roof strips, can anyone give me some indication how far in these holes are from the back of my car, I don't want to lift the whole strip if it isn't necessary. Any advice would be appreciated.
