General bonnet wont close

can anyone help it wont shut all the way the bar on bonnet wont go into the catch anyone help?

Grease the mechanism? Don't know which bar you mean: the bar that holds the bonnet open or the bar which goes into the slam panel?

Pull the handle on the inside again, sounds like someone has clicked the catch shut while the bonnet was open.

just tryed pulling handel and it poped open then went to close it but it wont go down all the way.it locks in but no closed right think its the bit on the car not bonnet ????

Check rubber bump stops each side are not set to high or you may have to adjust the lock on front of car to allow the bonnet to line up with the wings.

its something today with the slam lock one side in higher than the other it wont close the slam lock int working ive tryed pulling it no working

make sure theres no objects preventing the bonnet from shutting.

A number of times i have left the rubber top mount covers off and shut the bonnet down and then bending it to try and make it fit

Has it been fitting? have you bumped the car or altered anything to do with the catch?
