Blue & Me - Tech Info and questions and answers

Hi everyone
I have just set my SE C905 with blue and me, everything works fine except i can't answer and calls, i can hang up an incoming call just can't answer it. Does any one have any help or advice??

Hi,
I've just got my new 500 and am chuffed to find that my SE K770i phone works fine with the blue & me!
As far as the MP3 facility goes... no such luck. It's coming up "no media". Is that what others have found? Easily solved if I buy the right memory stick I suppose, but I just wondered if there's something I can do to get the integral MP3 to work on the phone.
I've read the last 2 year's worth of this thread, but nothing about integral phone MP3 compatability.

Got given a GP yesterday as a Company run around.... as a Porsche owner, I was sceptical, but what a fun car !!!

Blue & Me took me 2 1/2 minutes to sort using the booklet provided with the car.

One point to be aware of, is that as the computer speaks your contact names, make sure you do not abbreviate your contact names as they weill be difficult for you to remember when you voice dial in the car... i.e mobile instead of mbl...

I've just updated to Blue&Me version 5.4, and I've got to say, it's made the experience worse than it was before. The media player takes longer to respond to the steering wheel control presses, and they still haven't addressed the issues where it claims there is "No Media" and where the last letter of every track title is missing. Get your act together FIAT!!!

hey, ive just brought a 1.9 sporting 07 plate used from a garage, i dont know the PIN to sync my phone with the blue & Me system, anyone know where it will be or where i can find it? Ive looked all through the hand books!

The B&M system generates a random four number pin when you use the "pair" option on the system.

ok but how do i know what this 4 digit code is?! Im trying to sync my iphone with it, i know and dont care about not being able to play music from it, i have my mem stick for that but i just want to make and receive phone calls without causing any trouble from the boys in blue!

ok ive found it, after playing with the system and finally finding the button and what to do its actually really quite sodding good! i was mega impressed that it managed to find my phone book! All my contacts nicely arranged there, Im guessing as I have an iPhone I wont be able to use the message reader, how does the voice command thing work?

hiya just picked up my 1.2 lounge today...really happy with it and have been playing around with the blue and me all afternoon..have managed to connect my blackberry bold to it, and got my contacts downloaded - but it doesnt recognise voice commands?? and only displays the numbers on the display pannel not the names..well i only know my number off by heart so scrolling thru my phonebook in numbers is really no use to me at all lol!! does anyone know a way for it to display the name not the number?? and is this why it doesnt recognise any names i shout out?!
any help would be great

I've a Linea & I've a few queries on B&M & Media Player

• Once Media Player is started using USB stick, it can't be stopped with any of the buttons. Only voice command "STOP" is able to stop it. If I do not do it, Media Player starts automatically when I restart the engine later. Is there any button/ way to stop media player other than voice command?
• My phone Nokia 6265 has a facility of storing multiple phone numbers for the same contact. However, B&M phonebook thro' steering control does not display all numbers of a contact but displays only the default phone number. Does anyone face this?

Hey! I've been reading about B&M compatibility all night lol, but my phone has never cropped up in any of the conversations. Its the Samsung M8800 (Pixon) Has anyone got this phone? and could anyone tell me how it works with B&M. Does the phonebook upload ok?

Sorry I posted this in a different area but after several hours looking and reading I found the right area to post this, once again sorry to all.
Hi I have 2008 Fiat Eco Bravo

I use the blue and me all the time, but recently I have had a major problem and when I contacted the garage I bought it from they did not think they could fix it and the car could be with them for a long time, weeks as it may have to to an expert on these matters.

The problem is that when i got my updated phone a Sony Ericsson W595, I had the older model of this phone and it worked very well on the Blue and me.
The new phone never copied across the new numbers automatically, I had to do it individually , a real pain.
It never read the messages like the other phone did, I had to dial the 171 and proceed.
Then it stopped answering the messages and letting me call the 171 number and only gave me the number not the name of the caller and I then had to manually call 171 which is less than ideal.
Last week it was doing this, but on Tuesday it would connect with the phone and let me manually call.
Now it does not connect at all.
The Windows button has no voice activation at all.
The Memory stick will work and play the last album I was listening to, but I cannot mannually or vocally change the Album or Artist I am listening to.
I cannot use the phone button as nothing happens.
Even when I turn the key to the correct position to get it to pair/connect or pair nothing happens at all.
Is this a really serious problem that will take a while to fix or is their anything I can do or tell to the garage before I leave it in that will help them resolve the issues.
Do I need to go to a site on FIAT and can download fixes to help resolve this matteras the local guys seem to have no clue, and taking a car for a week is a bit much i feel.

I have a Samsung G800, I know its not the same phone but the SMS doesn't work so doubt it will on yours, but phonebook etc works great, in no rush to change it but am keeping my eye out

Can anyone help just upgraded to the latest firmware 5.9 I think. this doesn't work as well as the old with my memory stick sometimes it plays a random track when I turn on the key not the playlist i was playing when i turned off also the message reader will not work it was perfect before with my Motorola v9 I use two phones. I upgraded to work better with my Iphone seems no different.

So what I want to do is go back to the last firmware before the one for the Iphone accessory how can this be done
