I think Eco Drive is not available in Indian version of Grande Punto. I've a Linea & its not available on that either.
 
Just bought a new unit for mine, £100 off ebay and genuine part! works a treat and installed it myslef and updated myself, crackin!

ALSO

I got the latest download from the fiat website, here the link.....

So now i have the text message reader, the woman speaks too fast through but makes you laugh.
also I have installed the ecodrive monitor thing through the same link but a seperate download, pm me if you have any questions....... :slayer:
 
hi ppl.

i tried setting up ecodrive onto my blue and me system. each tive i got a usb 10 error.
so i check the contents of the pen drive.
the setup file (.inf file) specifies the files for 5.3 and 5.2 but not for 5.4.
i guess this is the problem.

Now i need help in how to get the usb key setup for blue and me 5.4
i tried to update the ecodrive on the PC but still of no use..

hope u guys can help.

one question.... ive put the sms reader download onto my usb stick, but when i plug it in, nothing comes up on the display, the manual says it should say 'update'
can anyone help with what im doing wrong?
btw ive got a samsung 'pixon' :)

Jamie,
As its a RAR file,before you can load it you need to decompress the files before you put them on your memory stick.
 
Help required, Blue & Me mutes my sat nav on my nokia n95, unless I turn off bluetooth, the sound then comes out of the phone, does anyone know how I can get my sat nav to come out of the cars speakers, same with the music on my phone.
 
Hi, Having problems with my media player on my 159 ti. If i want to scroll through the albums or artist list it comes up with 'please wait while the system builds the media library', i've only got 3 albums on the usb stick so far. If i pull the usb out and then back in sometimes it works for a while.Been to the dealer and they reset the system, ok for a day then back to the same problem.:bang:

Have another memory stick in the car with something else on it. And when this problem re-occurrs, plug in the spare stick, wait for it to configure, then switch back to your original drive.

we ordered our Abarth 500 today.

I am wondering about the stereo - can anyone help?


The car has blue&me and the "standard" stereo which I gather is a Blaupunkt unit.


Blaupunkt say that Bosch have sold Blaupunkt - so after market units are made by Blaupunkt but all units fitted to cars like Fiat / Ford are made by Bosch which is now a different company - although they still carry the Blaupunkt badge. ??!


The bottom line is that no one can tell me about the stereo!!


What I want to know is what will happen to my blue&me if I replace the stereo with another one? Is happens that the one I have is also Blaupunkt (sat nav)- so the connections might fit?

You can buy a fascia so that you can install a regular din stero from Fiat and connects2.co.uk do leads so you can still use the multifunction wheel with after market units.

What I'm not sure about is what happens to the windows USB port and the blue&me. Are they part of the stereo or do they just plug in?


Can anyone help?

Blue and Me has been working fine for the last 6 months (well, OK, I have had to plug in and out different media sticks on occaision to get it working) but now I have lost the instument panel display.
When I receive a call no indicator on the dash, when I play media - no track details.
Any suggestions?
 
Ok I hope someone can help.
I have an Archos 105 MP3 player which i cant seem to get to play in my new Fiat 500.
Having fiddled for a bit the car car now seems to recognise a player is attached(didnt when i first tried) and shows the MEDIA PLAYER on the radio when i start the car. However this is as far as it gets. It doesnt play anything and just contiues to show media player. If i scroll to "playlist" in settings the car says installing media library please wait but again i get no further.
Please help!

I have a very annoying problem!
Since 2 months the repeat-modus is on and I don´t know how I could cancel it!! I have tried everything.

I´m wondering why this is only with my usb-stick because playing a CD works regular. On the usb-stick there are simlpy some tracks and some folders and no playlists, so I think the car must be responsible for the problem.
Please help me!:worship:




PS: My car is a Fiat Grande Sport and I love you all;)
(Sry but I´m German, and so there could be some mistakes)

I've been reading through the recent posts put on this thread but i don't seem to have found the answer to my question so i was helping someone could help.

I have a Sony Ericsson W995 and everything works fine with B&M except i am not able to answer calls. I have to hang-up and re-dial then it works fine, but it's annoying that i can't answer calls in the first instance - can anyone shed any light on this?

at MissR: I´ve allredy tried this with no succes. I have changed every setting but I could not get the "replay" off. Have you allready tried it? What is the name of this instruction?
 
Hi ! Can anyone tell me if the new NOKIA N900 works with Blue&Me ? Thinking of upgrading to the N900 but because on the new Maemo 5 operating system just wondered if anyone out there had got one and used it in their Fiat with the blue and me system. Thanks all !;)
 
I've been using my USB in my 500 but can rarely use it as it continuously creates a media library. Does anyone know a good amount of songs to have saved to prevent this?

I'm trying to update my 159 Ti (bought on January 2008) Blue&Me but I'm having some problems. I'm trying to update to 5.4 v11 (using this file h**p://195.88.6.195/test/download/blue&me/5_4_11_Up_Date_Package_Signed.zip replace * with 't') and I got an error at the very beginning. In the car display appears "ERROR USB 10".

I put my pendrive again in the PC and a file named Log.txt appeared with this content:

Device ID: 0x0014 0900 7a68

Detected:
Build = 7152
Hw = C3
P_Img = 0

7152_PT3

Update not available !

I tried two pendrives:
  • Kingston 2GB (with FAT16 and FAT32, I tried both)
  • Aqua 128MB (with FAT16 and FAT32, I tried both)

Does someone know what's happening?
