I wanted to uploed the EcoDrive files. I copied it to my USB stick but when plugged in nothing has happened, the download even not started. Any idea?

Hi , We have just taken possession of our new grande punto 1.3.multijet, with blue and me , I have and lg shine and it pairs to the car and i can recieve calls , and make via dialling number but can not transfer my contacts, my husband was able to do his from his se no problem. also we have tried 3 different device with the usb to play mps and it just keeps saying no media found. phoned fiat they didnt know what was wrong sasid we were doing everything ok. just aked us to take it back to dealer, anyone got any suggestions as we have tried different device , pulling the stick in and out and different forms eg mps and wma .

Samsung J700 (or any other suggestions)

Hi, I've tried to search through the forum as much as possible before asking but couldn't find anything related...

Does anyone know whether the Samsung J700 will work with Blue & Me. Trying to buy a new phone specifically to work with the system (basically looking for the cheapest one that will work) and noone in the phone shops or fiat dealers seem to have a clue.
I've got a copy of the compatible models list but any phone I look for doesn't seem to be included.
Or if anyone has any other suggestions let me know (I don't really care about any other feature on the phone).

2 phones that work with all aspecs of Blue&Me are Sony Ericsson W890i and Sony Ericsson K770i,you can pick either up on Pay as you go for around £100.

Stick to MP3 format. Reset the system aswell. Do this by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for a few minutes. Doesnt always work but worth a try.

When I receive an SMS, B&M tells me that I've got a new message and asks if I want it read out... which is fine. However, I'd have hoped that the screen tells me who the message is from. Instead, it just shows a telephone number. I've synchronised the phone book and everything. (Receiving/making phone calls doesn't raise this issue) My phone is a Sony Ericsson W910i

This issue has been covered a few times,you will only see the number not the name,on a different point do you find when the SE W910i disconnects from B&M sometimes when you receive a call the person on the other end can not hear you?

You must connect your usb stick BEFORE you turn on the ignition. If you plug it in afterwards it will say updating but the update will not work. Regards, Dave

Another question. Why it happens that not all mp3 are played from my USB stick. All music are in one folder and I can not find my recent favourite. Any idea?

On a slightly different tack and I don't know if anyone can help but here goes. When we purchased our Fiat (which was a pre, pre-installed Blue and Me model (an early no Blue and Me model if that makes more sense) we were given as a sweetner a Sat Nav system under Fiat part number called Blue & Me Map.

Me being a bit nieve (spelling) thought this will have a phone function. However having read the instructions it appears to have everything but a phone function which rather begs the question why it is called Blue and Me!

Anybody come across this Fiat accessory who can throw any light on it?

Blue&Me Map is a sat nav unit. Doesn't have any phone functions. It can be paired with the car Blue&Me system via Bluetooth connection, so the sat nav directions can be heared trough the car's speaker. However, currently it only works (the Bluetooth pairing) with the Fiat 500 and as far as I know with the Alfa Mito Blue&Me system. Doesn't work with GP. A software upgrade would definitely solve the problem... All the other functions work well though.

Very strange. Does any of these unplayable mp3 files are protected? Can you check if there is any difference between the playable and not playable files (in their names). I'm guessing Blue&Me might not like the way they are named, like too long file name, or a character is used etc. I'm just guessing... Has Blue&Me played fine these songs before?

suddently,i cannot change tracks or answer a call from the wheel buttons, if i choose the cd as source,it works great...what's the problem? is there a setting to fix it ? thanks in advance....

Blue & Me worked fine with my Blackberry 8900, and suddenly, it doesn't work anymore !

So I deleted the profil and the account on my Blackberry and my Fiat 500, and did the PAIRING procedure again.

So in the Fiat, I did SETTINGS/PAIRING, I saw the PIN code on my Fiat central screen, then my Blackberry detected well the Blue&Me, so I input the PIN code that I saw, then my Blackberry said that the pairing went well, but that at final, it couldn't connect to the Blue&Me!

It's written "Waiting Blue&Me" and get never connected to it...

I can switch off my Blackbbery, or/and turn of my Fiat 500, my Blackberry can't connect to Blue&Me even if they are well pair !
The pairing went well, no problem about it...

It worked perfectly before, but from today, it doesn't.

Did it happen to anyone?
What can I do?
