I have the SonyEricsson Xperia Mini Pro with Android 2.1.
I have updated the Fiat Blue & Me with the Sony patch - it installed with no problems However I cannot for the life of me pair the phone with the car.
The phone will not recognize the password number generated by Blue & Me when trying to carry out the pair operation.
Anyone out there have a set of idiot instructions?
It goes without saying I have neen following the Fiat Blue & Me book to the letter. I just want to make and receive handsfree phone calls

I have managed to successfully get the Xperia Min Pro to work with my Fat 500
It is now possible to receive and calls in Hands Free mode.
I downloaded an free app - BlueTooth file transfer - installedit and then carried out the pairing procedure. I did not have to enter the pin generated by the pairing procedure. Here is the link.

im stuggling with my phone, its a Samsung SGH U600, and although not listed on the "working with" section, i fumbled my way through the set up, and everything worked, i spoke a command, made a call, perfect!
problem was, it was my phone, and the car was a present for my wife, so as she has the same phone as me (kids christmas prezzie to drag us into the computer age last year)
I thought it would be no problem, but i get as far a paring, enter the pin number and downloading the the phonebook, but thats all it does, the car then comes up with "No Bluetooth"
Im dumb as hell when it comes to gizmos, so any help regarding this would be great!
Is it possible to remove my phone from the cars system as i dont use the car , but when i get a lift, my phone uses the cars system which get up my wifes nose?

I am having problems with my Nokia N8 and Blue & Me in my new Giulietta. I have successfully paired the phone and transferred the phone book and at first it all worked fine. Now I can make calls via the bluetooth but when they connect I can't hear anything. The person on the other end can hear me fine. I have taken the car in to alfa and they have tried it with another phone and it's fine. I have spoken to Nokia and the network provider but they haven't come up with any answers yet.
Anyone any ideas?

Hi, I'm wondering whether anyone can help. Just bought a Grande Punto Evo on a 10 plate with the Blue & Me installed etc. Love the car, absolutely loved the handsfree and bluetooth features and managed to get my ipod working....for about 4 days. Now the bluetooth in general and media player isn't working. Won't do any voice commands and goes back to radio, i plug in my ipod, it recognises it and comes up that it's playing a song but there's no sound. I can't make vioce activated calls or use the ipod through voice commands! Now the stop & start says it's unavailable - what's going on? Can anyone help?
I thought you could stream music from your memory stick music files on the phone through the bluetooth to speakers in the car. I did this with my bmw I had and my old classic 1974 car does it, modern stereo though!!
I think they forgot to put this facility on it!! For a few quid more, it wouldn't hurt ?

Are you running the latest v5.5 Blue&Me software? My N8 works perfectly with B&M in my Evo. The phone shouldn't actually transfer the phone book or call log to the car, both should be available via bluetooth when the car connects to the phone as they're read straight from the device on connection. Previous versions used to transfer the data which would result in having to constantly refresh the contact list in the car from the phone. This is no longer necessary thankfully.
Try removing the pairing from your car/phone and re-pair to see if that helps.

I have a Fiat Bravo I have been using my iphone 4 via the mediaplayer fine for a couple of months. Today is suddenly has stopped recognising the iphone and playing the music through the speakers on my phone. I have tried everything I can think off. I have even tried to with my ipod and that doesnt work either. I am starting to think that expensive adapter has gone phut. Any ideas or suggestions?

we had problems with both our ipod touch and i phone 3gs recently would work with the blue and me adapter but made crackling and popping noises,
updated the ipod and phone to apple 4.2.1 and they would not work.
so i updated the blue and me to 5.5 form fiat web site and downloaded to the car as per instructions and now it's all working ok no sound issues and full menu on controls,
hurray sounds back at last,

Hi all, I have a 500 2012 sport. Have been :bang: doing my head in trying to get my blue and me working. I pair my device (have tried both my bb 8900 and apple iPhone) same result the radio turns off when I receive or make a call but I can't hear any sound and the person on the other end can't hear me. I read the compatible phones list and neither of my phones are listed. Do you think this is the only reason it's not working?

Gosh u can upgrade the blue and me lol. Perhaps this is my problem I have the iPhone 3G and can't get any sound
Hi all, I have iPhone4 and a 2011 500 Lounge (oh lucky me
) anyway all seems fine with it, just a thought though would I be likely to have the latest B&M software, and how do I find out what I hve and how to get the latest one? By the way love B&M for the most part, though I can't always get it to recognise my voice

I've just bought a 2008 GP Sporting and it has Blue & Me fitted and I have this little problem that's driving me mad!! :bang:
At the moment I have a Nokia 5800 which should work with Blue & Me according to the list on the Fiat website. I have paired it with the system, downloaded my phonebook and it all seems to work well - Great!! until I get out of the car!
When I get back into my car the system doesn't pair automatically with my phone. This happens even though bluetooth is permanently activated on my phone and have set the phone to automatically pair to Blue & Me when requested to do so.
I have to manually pair the phone to Blue & Me every time I get into the car then it works fine again, until I get out!!
I'm not sure if this is a fault with my phone or with Blue & Me. I previously had a Kenwood system in my last Mk2 Punto with a Bluetooth module which paired every time I got into the car, so that leads me to think that it isn't a fault with the phone.
Would carrying out the Blue & Me 5.5 update I downloaded from the Fiat Italy site help me out here?

I've read that some Nokia phones have this problem. Updating to 5.5 doesn't hurt. It improves phones compatibility, so with a little luck, after the update it should connect automatically whenever you are in Blue&Me's bluetooth range. Also if there is an update for your phone, I would install that as well.
