Technical Blower motor not working

Hi,
The blower motor on my 2011 Fiat Punto 1.4l Emotion isn't working. I've found it difficult to source the blower motor at a reasonable price. Is there another blower motor from a different brand that could fit perfectly into my Punto?

I'm a new Fiat owner and any advice would be very helpful.

Are you sure it is the fan motor, a lot of owners have problems with the ballast resistor that is fixed to it and controls fan speed.
Though usually that starts off not working on certain speeds.
