Hi, I was wondering on the order of bleeding. The rule of thumb is to start the furthest away and move towards the closest brake to the master cylinder.

Haynes says:
Left-Rear
Right-Front
Right-Rear
Left-Front

Should I follow the Haynes advice or ditch it as I have so far with most advice so far for the cinquecento?

Hmmm, I wounder... ARGG ever since I found the manual to be wrong on something as simple as an oil sump plug, I have began to not trust it on anything.

I seen 2 different types of sump plugs on a cento. Mines a 8mm hex iirc, as are most but some are different, what fitment exactly i can't remember.

Don't worry about the haynes being wrong, its not. Lets not forget also that the sump plug could have been put there by a previous owner and thats why it differed.

Haynes base their work on stripping down a car. If the car they use is slightly different, so be it. No one died, its just a difference.

Cheers

Well, it said that I would have to change the seal. The sump plug does not have a seal, because it is a tapered thread, which will take up any ware and slack.

When I had my rolla and the workshop manual of haynes, I used to treat them like Bibles. ever since they switched to Service and Repair manuals, I don't know, they seem a tad slack.
