HELP
Hiya- whilst changing a headlight bulb in my fiat today. my mum managed to snap the small black clip off the socket bit that clips it in. Just wondering how you can repair this and if this will cause a fail in an mot? The light is working and stays in position

Speedy Fix glue works incredibly well on car black plastic. Its like superglue but with fine grit that you cover the break with first. The glue sets instantaneously and creates a very very string bond. Available on eBay.

I mended the Panda air filter box with it 5 years ago and its still holding. The glued bit is very small too.

Yeah I wouldn't be at all surprised if superglue could hold that no trouble (although maybe silicone would be more easily separated in the future?). Our left DRL is superglued at all three mounting points as it was knocked back in after an accident last year - still sitting where it should be :)

The superglue/powder fix is a good idea!- however its a good idea to slightly chamfer each edge of the repair so the powder sits in a kinda"V" channel makes a stronger bond when the glue is added! might be difficult to hold in position!,so a second pair of hands to hold everything whilst you apply the glue would make it easier!
