I am new here and have no idea if I'm using this site correctly. Need new battery terminals for my Fiat Panda Eleganza 2004. Does anybody know where I could buy some from, please? The previous owner must have done a bodge job as they are just sitting on the there.

Yep that's what happens when they are grossly over tightend .

Try ebay
Look at fiat 500 ones too could be the same part if you look carefully.
Petrol and diesel types could be different.

old faction beakers would be good

the would be tossed into the scrap metal anyhow. My local breakers would charge £5 there mini order

Pretty much every Fiat is the same. Early Pandas didn't have the cam lock, which is nice to have

In the meantime.. if you are struggling

Ive found over the years that:

The posts are tapered..and in 2 sizes

Option 1

Slacken bolt .. use a screwdriver to open the clamp.. 3 or 4 mm gap

Use a Socket to tap the clamp down the taper.. then gently tighten the clamp.. when you think its tight.. try and twist the clamp

If it doesnt twist..its tight enough :)

Too small - or big..

A small piece of 15mm household copper pipe cut to @15mm tal..and slit down its lenght makes a very good..and conductive.. spacer
