As for us, probably speak to the school beforehand, say it was a pre-arranged holiday, and be there the whole 3 nights. The only decision now is when to book [I booked late last year, but tempted to book before 31st Jan] AND what night Jules will stay in with kids. She was gutted that she missed the Sat night last time

Some people say you can have time off if it is pre-arranged, others say no you can't. If she is ill, she will have to be from Friday to Monday BUT then all the people in the village will know that we have gone away, lol...
