..is out.

But you can't download it yet, as there isn't a link available when you select the car/generation. Those of us with the later B&M unit in the car (Mid 2011 on) should be able to get the update when it's actually available for download.

They've also created an 'assisted mode' where you download a small 'update'/piece of code that drags out the config from your B&M unit and then you upload it to them so they give you the appropriate download. Easy way to check is if you've got an 'IMAGE ID' menu item under SETTINGS>ADVANCED SETTINGS in the menu; if you have, you have a second generation B&M unit.

As soon as I see the download available, I'll update this thread...

Hmmm. For those of us with the 1st generation of Blue and Me, I have a feeling that we have been abandoned. I always hoped that we'd get A2DP support.

I can see what you're saying A2DP would be nice - but hey ho, I'm not going to lose sleep over it. Based on people's feedback of B&M 5.6, I'd say that 6.0 is actually the same software for the later B&M units.

I just downloaded the update tonight - it's available now; taking care to ensure I downloaded the appropriate update (they support standard B&M, B&M Map, B&M TomTom and B&M TomTom 2) and then applied it.

Took about 5 mins, it started updating, then paused for a while, then said starting update again, followed by a period of copying files before it came up 'INSTALLING...' and then 'COMPLETE'.

EcoDrive then needs updating, but it looks like they've *finally* fixed the bug where you had to delete the install.inf file to stop it reinstalling ecoDrive at each key-on. Installed painlessly.

B&M 6.0 paired quite easily and happily with my iPhone 4S, which is currently running iOS 6.0 beta - the call quality is noticeably better with less lag. Seems good..

Currently getting amessage that the B&M Portal is offline, although the direct link seems to work

Has anyone got the Direct link to the files containing the UK Version with TomTom Live 2?.

Cheers

Interestingly the date on the news article on their site is Mondays 18th June!

Many Thanks That Worked Fine.

Assume its all updated as it said complete at the end, but there does not seem to be any way to confirm the version number now in use unless its the APP or image ID?

Look at the log file on your USB stick, you should see the following:

D042
F312L2
0809
EDx BMf
UPkern
UPcopyR
UPcopy
UPref
BuildOk
CABOK
UPComp
E033
0809
BMm LD1

Or something like that. Which means the update was successful, and gives the App ID (the E033 bit).

I have a 2012 500 Abarth, and connot for the life of update to B&M Version 6. I keep getting USB Error 10, tried several different USB sticks - no luck.

Anything that I should know? It's the standard version with out NAV.

A.

You need to leave it in and go have a cup of coffee, it takes forever..

After the inital load and the radio starts back up it will continue again in a few mins, does it about 3 times in total

Think it was total of over 10 mins on mine before it was finished,

(I Intially got the Error 10 and Italian Messages as I took it out thinking it had finished)

Can anyone advise which update I need for a 61 plate Evo?

Punto Evo alone is not listed - its listed as a "Punto Evo e Punto 2012" ?

Also is there any info available on what the V6 update does?
A change list?
