my mate does that mini run every year., id love to do it myself, im a bit f a mini fan. , not all that BMW sh*te.,lol., the originals.,(y)

there ugly alright, but not a bad car., its just not really a mini though is it.,

the original one is full of character and the bmw one is just a poser-mobile.,

im lucky, my areas pretty free of the grotty little buggers. My nemesis is a mini, and i battle with it daily

Hatefull little cars :yuck:

well i for one love the original mini, its my dream car, most kids dream of ferraris and lambos but mine is a mini lol, eveyr mini i see for sale i slam on and go back, but there always to dam expensive for me  it realy does get me down,i want one so much lol:cry:

thats one of the things that annoys me about them, most of them are so old and tatty, yet your still paying like 2k for it!

its madness for something that you cant travel far in with out getting cramp, something that thinks that luxury is is sticking a plank of wood over the dashboard and using wood for the interior handles (leccy windows at least? what be they), and that rusts worse then a mk1 Uno

the old old ones are fine, they difined an era, and are now classics, a 1980s example, however, is a poorly made throw back, whos contempories were much better at carrying people and generally being nice decent things to travel in.

there's a slap waiting laddy:D taketh the lords motor car in vain, and he'll shoot a lightning bolt up your poo flower:D

you cant honestly tell us that an mk1 uno doesnt start to melt whenever it rains?

the patchy UT in your garage would prove otherwise :chin:

That's because it's a cult car now, much the same as the Beetle/ VW Transporter etc.

You could get leccy windows for a Mini, just not factory fit.

but it is!!

I was in a BMW mini garage a month or so back with a mate, who like me agrees the new ones are overpriced gash. while we were there a women turned up with bf in tow, saw the first mini cab in whatever colour there was, test drove it to the other end of the carpark and back, then bought it:eek:

it was 18months old, and bodywork looked like it had been washed with a scouring pad, plus a number of door dings, yet she paid almost new price (twas like £1500 less than they are new:rolleyes: ).

the guy I was there with loves original minis too, but he can't afford one, seems the peoples car is now well and truley out of us commoners reach:mad: :(
