lots of people that age go, don't forget there is the museum there, the olds like looking around that, they see cars from their past and it brings back memories for them
Quick question: I'd like to be on the stand but can I leave before the end? Never been to Gaydon before but I understand that is not so easy to extract your car from the throng...
i didn't know they wasnt allowed i wasnt there last year, its not really a bbq is it its gas so just a big gas cooker really. i intended to bring it and Lloyd said he will cook all day
Sounds good, will have to get a family bbq pack from tescos. Will we be putting up the "big tent" if so ill come early so I can help set it up (and stay late to help take it down).
it would be good if we can get the big one up. took 8 people 2.5 hours to get it up last time though, am going to try and get most of it done the afternoon before though if i can find some helpers
Dave,
I was thinking maybe the half size would probably suffice like what was at Brooklands. Plus it didnt take that long for us to take it down did it????
I think the no BBQ rule may come from insurance purposes as it will surley pose a fire risk.
the small one is a lot less than half size though about a third or a quater i think. will have to see what the weather says nearer the time, the big one will keep a lot more people dry
