as t4 says throttle switch adjustment or just simply replacement may sort it as it's driving normally
common fault
i serviced one a wile ago and found someone must have forced the throttle back as it had popped the switch out of holder causing intermittent/permanent light yet driving normally
but a few other basic things you can do check the transmission oil level
if it's low it may overheat and cause problems
another common fault on these box's is the park neutral switch on not sure if it's in the box or on the gear lever
as when you brake the power is going down the reverse light circuit instead and causing it to think it's in reverse hence the error code you have
it's most likely to be a bad connection between the wiring and the lamp unit itself you need to pay most atension to the cleanliness of the black wires connector
then you will need to have the error code erased
if you operate the rear lights and indicators wile someone looks at them you will probably notice they are acting up and flashing on and off with the indicators a bit like a christmass tree
