Technical attaching sunroof

hello all, almost done with my model f resto, just hoping if you could answer some questions to attaching the sunroof. at the rear of the sunroof does one have to use something to make it watertight eg glass silicone and when attaching the middle metal sunroof bars to the cars chassis do i just use the stud and nut to attach the metal bars or are there any washers etc involved??

Hi Ric and welcome to the forum!

Looking at ours, there doesn't seem to be any sealant of any kind, and in our case the sunroof is held on with large pop rivets.

Thanks, i was going to pop rivet them in also, but opted to put in self tapping screws, it seems to worked well so far, thanks again for your time

I searched for ages to find a pair of these puppies!!...lol...I am going to run a bead of clear silicone sealer under the sunroof and rear clamp bar to prevent any water seepage in the typical UK weather...
