Hi all

Have a few more questions on various topics

1. I seem to be missing the Interior light which is fixed on the rear view mirror, could someone tell me how the wiring is taken from the mirror to the fuse box? I am unable to figure out how the wires run from the mirror to the fuse box without being seen?

Also can someone send me a pic of this so called light under the rear view mirror? as I have the Nouva its only a map reading light and not able to indicate when drivers side door is open (hope I am right)

2. I need to get a pair of door straps as I have the suicide doors, can someone mail me a pic of the door straps already fitted as I can buy them but need to see actual location on where to fit

3. Last but not the least, what is this rear seat strap that I see for sale on ebay? anyone has any idea where this is fitted? In my car I don't seem to be able to fasten the rear seat cushion, is the rear seat strap supposed to hold this together?

the way things are going I think you may have to have that camera on your permanently or else have the car also parked near you :p

My car is 90% refurbished now and looking quite good, painted it in the original Fiat Bianco white as it makes the car look smarter than the original Medio Blue which I presume makes the car look dingy and cramped up

will post some pics once all is complete found a used windscreen at last from a old car which I managed to salvage but it has minor wiper marks on it (beggars cant be choosers)

Okay Shanil...... I'll get the camera out again! :D

Only question I can answer without taking a look at our own car is number 3.

The rubber strap secures the rear seat back cushion to a bracket just under the rear window.

I'll take a photo of it next time I get the car out! (y)

HI Oppsadaisy, any luck with your camera?

I seemed to have sorted out the interior mirror light but appreciate if you can assist me with the rest?

Also need to know how the sunroof rear end is fastned as I bought a brand new one from Ricambi fiat but the 2 edges seem to be just with 2 straps??? I tried asking them but I am not quite clear on their suggestion

Sunroof - ours appears to be fixed in place with two large pop rivets through a securing bar - not sure if this is standard:

Thanks for the pics, your sunroof seems to be a modification as I notice there are marks of bolts right along the rear end which seem to have held down the canopy, I too have these 2 straps whihc have been held down by 2 bolts as per your pic but I am not sure if the canopy should be drilled and bolts passed throught them even at the centre

The sunroof rear clamp should have several threaded studs which penetrate the sunroof and roof, and be secured by nuts inside car. The original fixing at either end was via selftapper screw but these tend to rust and create a larger hole, causing many renovations to have blind rivets installed as per oopsadaisy car..The black painted rear sunroof bar is prone to rusting and there appears to be a galvanised one available nowadays which is slightly more expensive...

Thanks managed to sort this out by getting an additional hem sewed on to the canvass roof and is bolted from inside with stainless steel rod looks perfect now (y)
